This poster utilizes the acronym D.O.C. to allow your students to use it as a checklist to make sure that they have developed, organized their essay, and checked for conventions problems.  They get to become the "doctor" for their own compositions, going through the keys one by one, looking for places to put "band-aids and do surgery!"
